- I quitted from Pyro Studios, Madrid. I’m heading to Yager Development (Berlin).
- I’m enjoying my holydays in Seville, where I’m from. I’ll go abroad to Germany in a couple of weeks.
- I will format my laptop after posting this new. I haven’t formated my computer since 2006. I don’t know what could really happen (LHC comes to my mind)
- I will not take any of my consoles to Germany for the first months. I want to focus on my projects until I finish some of them.
- Berlin seems one of the cheapest places in Europe, but the taxes are damn highs.
- Hope German ladies will be like these… even with those pints of beer they still being sexy.
Ich werde nie im Stande sein, hier auf Deutsch zu schreiben. (Online translators sucks…)
Quite a long time, isn’t? I’m so sorry guys… I should take care of you. In fact, there are not so many people who really cares about my stuff, but the ones who remains here, deserves a mention. Thanks for worryning too much about me and my projects and also for your great support.
So, I owe you an explanation. It’s quite simple: I was taking some time to enjoy playing games. Since I started working at Pyro Studios, except for Portal and Ep2, I didn’t play any game until last month. It’s so ironic to have a job making games and have no time to play any. That’s why I took those “holydays”. And dudes, it was worth… GTAIV, Mario Kart Wii, Gears of War, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Halo 3, Resident Evil 4, Boom Blox… and this week Smash Brawl! I cannot wait for it. I’ve also bought some old consoles and some others not so old. It’s time to let you know than I’m a collector! (Just PSP and PS3 to complete my collection of modern consoles ^^).
What does it means? SDK-project still alive… in fact, and please, take this seriously… SDK-PROJECT WILL NEVER DIE. Ok? OK? Clear? Hehehe.
I have also some doubts about my job. I have a great offer in Germany and it looks way better than my job here in Spain, but I don’t want to quit now that things are starting to work. I’m very loyal to what/who I like and, honestly, I don’t want to be like a whore following the biggest wallet, but I have to decide ASAP. Choices, future… I hate being an adult. ¬¬’
Hope to have something to show or tell you in the following days.
No needs of long descriptions. A video featuring me talking about my projects in the 2º VideoGames Developers’s Meeting in Seville. Thanks for watching. News soon!
Am I sick with Valve? I mean… I love HL2 and everything related with Source but… there is not a cheaper way to express my feelings and admiration for such a great company? I’ve spent more than 200€ in 1 year on the Valve Store (In the picture is missing the Apperture Science Mug and 2 posters) and I think it’s a lot for a single person. I feel kind of crazy with all this stuff… do I really need all of this?
…
Definitely YES. I want even mooooore! ^^
Also I get some very good presents for my birthday: my own present was Mario Kart Wii, which I’m enjoying as I never did before with any Mario Kart (Well, maybe with the one for DS). My mates bought me Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, which I found really funny knowing that the action is set in a deep region of Spain, where people talks in Mexican and they still solving their problems burning other people, like witches (Japanese imagination is awesome!). Also another mate bought me a Wii Classic Controller and another one gave me a Zelda T-Shirt from ThinkGeek. But over all, the best one was a still functional Master System II with 5 games. I’m collecting old consoles and I was waiting to have this one since long time ago. Thanks Lewis! Thanks to all of you! And also thanks to my 4 loyal followers in this blog… they know who they are.
Well… back to Mario Kart Channel. I want to beat some records! Bye!
Happy birthday to me! 24 years old. I felt like a teenager until last sunday, but 24 years cannot fit in any way in the “teenager’s age range”. I’m old now, and that sucks…
I’ve been celebrating it from Thursday until Sunday… 3 days straight, like a gipsy wedding. I didn’t have time (either intention) to continue with any of my projects, and this situation could take a bit more time, because i’m waiting for some visitors in the following weekends. That’s my life!
Hope to bring to you news soon.
PS: My biological father, who I haven’t seen in a long time (Around 15 years) died last Friday. This suposse to be a bad new, but how I can miss someone who I barely met? Rest in peace, it’s all I can say…
Helloooo again! Sure I’m beating a record posting so frecuently as I never did before. This week I’ve been working to promote this website in MODDB, the perfect place to attract people to all this stuff. I’ve created two groups besides the MODDB profile of SDK-Project.
SDK-Project (English) compiles information about early stages of some of my mods and experiments I make just for fun… some of them still alive, some of them still abandoned. Here you can leave your opinion about those projects and also beg for some interesting idea you have been thinking a long time to become a game. Maybe I could do it for you. (Or not… ^-^)
SDK-Project (Spanish) compiles a bunch of videotutorials in my mother tongue to teach the spanish community how to start using Valve Hammer Editor. You can watch the video if you don’t care about hearing my voice in Cervante’s language. (The writter… not the Soul Calibur’s fighter ¬¬’)
I guess that after a week uploading videos and screens and no submitting any news or article, the people of MODDB could be a bit bothered about my “behaviour”. However, almost all the important stuff has been uploaded already and there are only some of the videotutorials left to upload. Anything else.
I registered a mod called SDK-Project (how surprising!) at MODDB to keep all my stuff visible for the huge MODDB community. Also you can find videos in higher (I think) resolution and screenshots of my latest projects.
By the way, I’ve renewed SDK-Project’s domain for another year. That means another year of waiting mates! ^^. No, seriously. I’m trying to reach an admisible quality level in all my mods. I don’t want to release crap and, actually, I really want to get a prize (or another honorable mention) in MODDB Awards 2008. I think I could have lot of possibilities if I finish at least 3 or 4 of my mods, and I believe that’s completely possible. So, it’s time to…
Good news, guys! I can finally prove that I’ve been doing my homeworks with SDK-Project, specially with Xen Invaders, which looks really fantastic after a long makeup session during the whole weekend. Thanks to Kathar (http://www.kathar.net/) for his help with the spaceship model (From BattleStar Galactica) and Nokya for the planets. Rest of the credits are for me… ^^’
Xen Invaders
- Spaceship model changed
- Enemy models changed.
- Planet models changed.
- New laser effect, HUD.
- Added spanish voices (International voices required, any language)
- The whole game has been scaled x0.25.
And PacMan Missions… not so many changes since the last time I updated, but I didn’t publish any video before. So, enjoy it! Thanks to SearinoX and Nokya (Again) for the models!
This is the meaning of SPAM: 4105 useless emails collected in just 2 weeks talking about how ashamed I must be about the size of my penis or how many lotteries I’ve won without intention. Lost in those 4105 there are 3 or 4 useful mails, for sure, but there is nothing i can do for them. For me, they’re dead… pity.
From now on, if you want to contact with me, do it through the following email account:
