Thirdperson View Tutorial

Yesterday I uploaded to YouTube a video showing a walkthrough of the incomming thirdperson tutorial map I’m going to release in a few hours… actually, when I finish working (around 4 hours from now). The BSP can be opened with Episode 1 (I haven’t tried with Half-Life 2), and the VMF file with any HL2 configuration.

Hope this tutorial, and specially the map, will help you to create whatever you wanted to do in thirdperson (I’m talking about all those people who push me along these last 6 months). Thanks for pushing me… I’m not joking.

Here is the video:

THIRDPERSON VIEW TUTORIAL & MAP

**** UPDATE 2: ****

This map doesn’t work properly in Half-Life 2: Episode 2. Some of the console commands changed from one version to another and the experience is far to be the same than in Half-Life 2: Episode 1. I recommend to install this tutorial JUST IN EPISODE 1, while I work in a new version of the tutorial for Episode 2 with some more interesting features. Sorry for the inconveniences!

Moving again… :D

A light at the end of the tunnel…

What a week! Actually, the last one and the previous one. We’re in a rush at the studio, and the last weekend I spent almost 24 hours working there. And this weekend I moved to another flat. That’s the best thing by far. I have been living in the same shared flat with the (whore) of my ex-girlfriend and the (asshole) guy who (fucks) fancy her now, during 2 eternal months. Now is like living in heaven. This appartment rocks! I even have a big empty wall to use my Bravia projector and I can reach almost a 150″ projected screen! Fucking amazing!

Well, this was the reason why I’ve been dissapeared this whole week, and I’m so sorry. Hope those days I’ll find some time to work in some project.
