Lovely useless Valve stuff…

Valve stuff

Eng_flagAm I sick with Valve? I mean… I love HL2 and everything related with Source but… there is not a cheaper way to express my feelings and admiration for such a great company? I’ve spent more than 200€ in 1 year on the Valve Store (In the picture is missing the Apperture Science Mug and 2 posters) and I think it’s a lot for a single person. I feel kind of crazy with all this stuff… do I really need all of this?

Definitely YES. I want even mooooore! ^^

Also I get some very good presents for my birthday: my own present was Mario Kart Wii, which I’m enjoying as I never did before with any Mario Kart (Well, maybe with the one for DS). My mates bought me Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, which I found really funny knowing that the action is set in a deep region of Spain, where people talks in Mexican and they still solving their problems burning other people, like witches (Japanese imagination is awesome!). Also another mate bought me a Wii Classic Controller and another one gave me a Zelda T-Shirt from ThinkGeek. But over all, the best one was a still functional Master System II with 5 games. I’m collecting old consoles and I was waiting to have this one since long time ago. Thanks Lewis! Thanks to all of you! And also thanks to my 4 loyal followers in this blog… they know who they are.

Well… back to Mario Kart Channel. I want to beat some records! Bye!

Happy birthday to me!

Cake!

Eng_flagHappy birthday to me! 24 years old. I felt like a teenager until last sunday, but 24 years cannot fit in any way in the “teenager’s age range”. I’m old now, and that sucks…

I’ve been celebrating it from Thursday until Sunday… 3 days straight, like a gipsy wedding. I didn’t have time (either intention) to continue with any of my projects, and this situation could take a bit more time, because i’m waiting for some visitors in the following weekends. That’s my life!

Hope to bring to you news soon.

PS: My biological father, who I haven’t seen in a long time (Around 15 years) died last Friday. This suposse to be a bad new, but how I can miss someone who I barely met? Rest in peace, it’s all I can say…

Back to MODDB!

Helloooo again! Sure I’m beating a record posting so frecuently as I never did before. This week I’ve been working to promote this website in MODDB, the perfect place to attract people to all this stuff. I’ve created two groups besides the MODDB profile of SDK-Project.

  • SDK-Project (English) compiles information about early stages of some of my mods and experiments I make just for fun… some of them still alive, some of them still abandoned. Here you can leave your opinion about those projects and also beg for some interesting idea you have been thinking a long time to become a game. Maybe I could do it for you. (Or not… ^-^)
  • SDK-Project (Spanish) compiles a bunch of videotutorials in my mother tongue to teach the spanish community how to start using Valve Hammer Editor. You can watch the video if you don’t care about hearing my voice in Cervante’s language. (The writter… not the Soul Calibur’s fighter ¬¬’)

I guess that after a week uploading videos and screens and no submitting any news or article, the people of MODDB could be a bit bothered about my “behaviour”. However, almost all the important stuff has been uploaded already and there are only some of the videotutorials left to upload. Anything else.

Feel free to leave your comment there and also become friend of this curious specimen.

Take a look on my latest experiment on MODDB!

(I’ll spend the rest of my day collecting stars in Super Mario Galaxy… ¬¬’)

Quick news!

As quick as I can…

I registered a mod called SDK-Project (how surprising!) at MODDB to keep all my stuff visible for the huge MODDB community. Also you can find videos in higher (I think) resolution and screenshots of my latest projects.

SDK-Project’s MODDB Profile

By the way, I’ve renewed SDK-Project’s domain for another year. That means another year of waiting mates! ^^. No, seriously. I’m trying to reach an admisible quality level in all my mods. I don’t want to release crap and, actually, I really want to get a prize (or another honorable mention) in MODDB Awards 2008. I think I could have lot of possibilities if I finish at least 3 or 4 of my mods, and I believe that’s completely possible. So, it’s time to…
