Little Big Planet & Left4Dead

2007 and 2008 probably will be remembered as a golden age in videgames history. This weekend I bought these two masterpieces, and I can tell you that both of them are worth.

Little Big Planet: To be honest, I bought a PS3 just to play this game. I finished it already, and I’m glad I did it playing coop with my room mate. We had really great moments and the game was challenging until the last second. Some of the levels made by the community are awesome, and reminds me to all the tricky things I have to do to create a mod with Hammer. I will spend so much time with LBP and its editor, I tell you… it’s frigging sweet!

Left 4 Dead: When I played the demo for the first time I was kind of dissapointed. The lighting was not so good as I expected, and the flashlight was ridiculous in dark places. Besides, the experience playing with bots was boring and not exciting at all. BUT… then I played in Co-op with 3 friends, with voice chat… and it was simply outstanding. We played the demo like 6 times in a row in expert mode. It was great that every time we retried the same level, everything was completely different. Valve, you did it again. THANKS!

What are your opinions about these games?

Halloween!

Besides the hang-over and the terrified face of the taxi driver when I said completely drunk: “Hey stop! Stop! … I need to go get out of this car, now!”, yesterday I enjoyed a really nice Halloween party night here in Berlin.

Woka woka woka!
